Who started nerds tests yesterday? 
Every blog, including mine, was showing nerds score. 
I got it from Gil, but it was everywhere.
Diferent bloggers were thanking different people for introducing this.
From whom do you got this infection?

Do you remain immune?
I wonder, who was the main culprit?

Earlier we thought of select stupid blogs of the blogland.
But then we thought it would not be very wise idea to do.
So we decided to comeout with list of "top blogs".
I have transparent procedure and criteria. I take into account not only numbe of comments eceived but number of comments posted by blogger on other people's blogs.
You can see last weeks list. Mostly it was acceptable to all. Though some names who were not in my riends list were also suggested.
Its a good idea Vox Paddy did a similar thing last year the Bloscars...
The problem I see, if there is one, is that people can blog an aweful lot of nonsense in a day - and maybe it penalises bloggers who have less time but produce a higher quality. Consequently, I highlighted a weekly list of 'interesting' blogs, but I haven't kept it up since I've been away for 6 months

6 months away? That is more than paternity leave.
You must have missed blogging lot.
Quality is important but dedication cannot be ignored.
Further quality is difficult to measure properly and very subjective quality you see.

I agree - if I recall, Paddy got everyone to vote on a list so it was a little less subjective - mine though was totally subjective, as I guess most good writing is..
