It was begining of mathematics KLM. Further it was before calender system in those must be in its rw form and it must not be as simple as marking calender hanging on wall I guess.
But why they were doing that? -

This issue I have discussed. Actually she taught me about natural birth control method. We have calender hanging on the wall marking her dates. I do keep track of it.

I had a hysterectomy 20 years ago and the first month when I did not have a period (menses, MC), I noticed that all the days seem to blend together. I no longer had the uterine pains mid-month when the egg was being released or during the menstrual cycle therefore, I did not have "reminders" every two weeks. Interesting....

You don't have simple mathematical worries anymore. Thats good. You are free from cycle and resultant worries.
Now it must have changed you quite a lot. -
I do it periodicaly.
