Wherever I go people recognise me saying "oh you are husband of her"
and when I hear this I feel I have achieved something. Wives of my all friends are mostly invisible. Not physically but socially. They have their identity sealed with their husband. Me is the opposite. Only thing I am not restricted to household chores or in doors.
But my wife is reknowned person. Though she is not just famous.-

I think you are a very special person. As you said, not many men consider themselves to be Mrs.....husband, but she is Mrs ....Wife.

I don't think there is anything wrong in that, although I must admit to thinking that we are individuals in a mariage/relationship, and it does not matter how we are addressed.
Its the 'er in doors' attitude I don't like.
