Blairs speech? Tell me...

by voxpopuli @ 2006-09-27 - 12:09:12

My friends yesterday I had lot of problems with internet and tv. I was unable to watch or hear historic speech of Mr. Blair.
Please tell me what he said in nutshell? What he not said? Why he said and why he did not said? Whether he cracked jokes? How were the jokes? Did someone die laughing after hearing those jokes?
Please tell me...

Humor is just another defense against the universe.

sorry i dint see it....but i had seen a bits of bush-musharaf conference, and must say the way these people speak we can hardly find any mistakes in their policies, but the problem is saying and doing are two different things, and here they alwayz contradict each other.......
a big big thumbs down to bush and his flagbearer blair........as an after thought if bush becomes a golfer after retirement, blair certainly will be his caddie

Is he good at that(caddie)?
There will be tough competition between him and Mush for that post. :))
Who knows the ball hit by Bush may land in Waziristan and nobody dare to bring it back. :)):))
By the way Mush was selling his book. He has become immortal by it. No Pakistani president had attracted so much attention of the world.

...yes and realisation of comic position of self.

I think Blair read something out that his speech writers cobbled together in hope that he will not be forever associated with mass murder in Iraq.

Something about being wrong but a least having made a decision.

Someone needs to point out to Tony Bleat that in the real world if you make a wrong decison there a consequences to pay. It is not enough to bleat on about " At least I made a decision". Well, Sir your decision cost thousands of lives.

I heard he said he British people can forgive wrong decision instead of no decision. This is not right thing for British people to do. It must be creating lot of pressure on rulers. They have to take decision because they are sure more than good, bad, right, wrong, only important thing is to take decision. Actually more then him the people (read British)who forced him to take decision are responsible. This conclusion I can derive from his assertion. I never thought Bitish people were like that. I thought they were very wise, liberal and progressive people.

The Brits are! It just their politicians that are investment bankers.

TB is trying to give the impression that he is a strong leader because he made a decision inspite of the fact that, by his own admission, it was the worng one.

Now, lets examine the alledge 'no decision' option; Invade Iraq? Do not invade Iraq?

Do you see a 'no decison' option there?

Absolutely. There is no such thing as 'indecision', when you are leading one important state. Even inacting is decision.
Many times 'inaction' rather than 'wrong action' is good decision. If you can't do good, atleast don't do bad.
You have good analytical brain my friend.
