Beauty exists in everything! It's down to you as the viewer to discern it. Failure to discern this all encompassing beauty should start ringing alarm bells. You really need to be open to all things to truly accept this belief system.

Any belief system that espouses the view that "Beauty is in all things" really.
A later poster mentioned that some people like lizards and others prefer butterflies. Or something similar.
I guess my point is this: Your personal preferences don't make things beatiful. It's not the things fault that your preferences are fucked up! It's down to you to teach yourself about you. Not the objects around you. If your understanding of what is beatiful comes from the material world - it will be limited?

The Material World: This palce that we inhabit. I can discern Beauty in the Material World. Women inhabit the Material World. Therefore: All Women are Beautiful.
Now, the statement above will have some say: Bollocks! Not all Women are Beautifull - check out Margaret Thatcher. Well, I would say her physical being is not the only thing that makes her Beautiful. There are other Qualities that are not discernable to all, that make her Beatifull. Aesthetics are not limited to Physical Structures.
Materialism: Utter Shite! If this is the limit of your world it is a sad place indeed.
It would probably be easier to backward engineer (if you like) why something IS not beautiful. Does the object of your scrutiny hold no redeeming features? Are you bright enough or willing enough to accept that things are beatiful and perhaps it's your issue that you cannot see what beauty exists.

No. Neither poverty and violence.
But I know there are people who search beauty in that. Reality tours world over arrange tours to slums in third world countries to entertain people who derive pleasure after watching filthy life of poor people.
For violence I know people are mad of action movies and shootig games.
So people tend to find beauty in everything.

She looks beautiful but, given her current situation she now and then spews forth the most diabolical filth! Normally my wife is pleasant, polite and reserved. The other night we were watching some news broadcast about the Youth of today..........you know the usual 'hoody' crap. At this my wife began ranting about 'those kind of people', you know? A kind of 'round the little bastards up and shoot'em' mentality. The rant widens to take in more of societies groupings and decends into a fre for all 'string 'em up' diatribe.
I think it must have something to do with hormones and her natural desire to protect her brood if you like?
I am sure this happened with our first born also.

This is bit perplexing. Usually woman's protective drives about child is different from other female spacies. She become more careful and loving about life. She tend to think against killing of anyone, even potential perceived threat to her child. That is the beauty of woman. What is happening to your wife I think is less biological, harmonal then social.
Do she get impression that if she says such things then you would be more happy? I am asking it coz your suport is the most important thing for her this last stage of pregnancy. She can go to any extent to please you.

Though one should keep in mind it is not full picture of a person. One is not sure after looking at full pic, one may think that 1952 is more then good. Who knows?

Have you noticed the quality of photos in diferent periods. That will also have impact on their appeal.

Thats true. Picture quality cannot minimise appeal of many faces. For some photo quality plays vital role. Now many models fall in love with photographers as they discover altogether different beauty in their own photos.
